YOGA: The Path of Self Realization

Spread the love

Everyone in this world wants to achieve something in life and to empower self to become the very best version that remains hidden deep within.

USTRASANA - Camel pose

According to Lord Krishna- The one who sees inaction in action and action in inaction is the intelligent person. The process of linking oneself with the supreme is called Yoga. It may be compared to a ladder for attaining spiritual realization. This ladder begins from the lowest material condition of the living entity and rises up to perfect self-realization in pre spiritual life.

Trikonasana - Traingle pose

The purpose of yoga is to control the mind and to draw it away from attachment to sense objects. The mind must be so trained that it can deliver the conditioned soul from the mire of nescience. In material world, the pure soul is so entangled. “For man, mind is the cause of bondage and the mind is the cause of liberation” Thus the mind has to be controlled in order to gain freedom from the materialistic things and discover the pure soul within. Real yoga practice entails meeting the paramatma within the heart. By practice of yoga, one becomes gradually detached from material concepts.

Lord Krishna once said- A Yogi is greater than ascetic, greater than the empiricist and greater than the fruitive worker. Therefore O Arjuna! In all circumstances, be a yogi.

Yoga ignites the power from within. In this fast phase of life, one needs to find the balance to remain energetic and constant believer in good working tasks. It restores the self-abilities and capabilities to nurture the nature.

BEING A YOGI SIGNIFIES BEING A KARMYOGI FOR SELF, A SAHYOGI FOR ALL AND UPYOGI FOR THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE.
